DDW's January 2014 Challenge - Silhouette

This is the second of the two oil lamps I inherited from my Little Grandad - a rather more rustic piece originating from Far East based on the chinese stamp on the glass - though clearly made for the English speaking market based on the "Made in...." text (Press L for large to see what I mean). It was grey metal and rust(!) coloured when I got it, but I have since renovated and repainted it.

I noticed it sitting on the windowsill in the downstairs cloakroom this morning, and thought it would make a good subject for the Silhoutte challange. I used LR and Silver Effect Pro to convert to B&W and enhance the silhouette effect without losing all of the detail.
