Broughton valley

It was one of those days when we thought we were mad to be going on a walk. There were heavy showers on the drive down and we started out in sleet and strong winds. But as with so many walks, it was worth it - we didn't really get wet and we weren't walking into the wind for much of the walk - and there were superb views! We finished up in Laurel Bank Tea Room in Broughton with tea and excellent scones.
