Man's best friend

Despite strong winds and lashing rain in the early hours, by mid morning things had calmed down enough for us to carry out our Big Garden Birdwatch. We all take a window each and shout out what we can see so we get a total of each species. Sadly no eagle fly past this year - our usual garden birds put in an appearance - goldfinches, green finches, chaffinches, great tits, blue tits, coal tits, robins, blackbirds, starlings,dunnock, siskins, house sparrows and a vole.
