FIELD OF VISION

I took this picture whilst walking with the dogs this morning. The plant in the foreground is Greater Burdock. The seed heads are hooked and enmesh themselves in the dogs' fur. We usually end up having to cut them out!
It was the roots of this plant that were used with fermented dandelions to make the drink Dandelion and Burdock. It was originally made as a type of light mead but over the years evolved into the non alcoholic soft drink.

A very lazy day as it has rained heavily since mid morning.
