Deer talking
A back blip because we were home late after a long day out. We went on a family visit to the Midlands today, and took the opportunity to wander around Bradgate Park. There was a herd of deer resting in the grass, trying to shelter (I think) from the cold wind. This animal has its mouth open as if it's talking to me. Probably telling me not to come any closer!
It's an OK photo (given the rather bland early afternoon light), but I have a long way to go to match some of the stunning deer photography from blipper Max Ellis (The Max Factor). Mind you, his journal is pretty stunning every day!
We had just returned to the car and were leaving the park when the sky blackened, and there was a gigantic hail storm accompanied by lightning flashes. Good timing on our part!
