Tides in!

Time for the weekly dog walk to the docks.... although considering the weather this morning was hailstones and torrential rain we didn't think we woukd get out at all. We were lucky that we managed to get a couple of almost dry hours... with the exception of a couple of minutes of hard rain, we had quite a pleasant walk!
The tide was in today, which I was pleased about as it really changes the scenery. My blip across the estuary a couple of weeks ago was taken in almost the same spot, but the water (hopefully) makes for a different picture.
Lucky we went out when we did. .. since getting home its done nothing but rain. I've heard that elsewhere in the forest of dean its snowing... so good job I spent the rest of the afternoon on a sausage casserole and a chocolate cake :-).
I'm off to tuck in!
