Harbour lights

Miserable day here today, wind and rain battering the house for most of the day. However by the time we went to get some groceries it had cleared so we drove along the beach to watch the massive swells of waves crashing against the shore, I am always enthralled but slightly terrified by the power of the sea.

Decided to take the long way home and drive round the battery to see more waves and we weren't let down, wow.

As we went round the water near the harbour looked so thick, almost like oil. Such a difference to the waves on the shore. Couldn't help trying to capture the scene. Even if it's not great on the iPhone camera
