New angle on things

Lie in this morning as it was raining and IB didn't want to go cycling in the rain. Good decision.
Met him around 1pm outside Edinburgh Bike Co-Op and we headed out of town on the canal path. Cold wind blowing today and there were plenty of puddles to go through. As the new pedals I bought meant I had to wear the trainer type cycling shoes I quickly got wet and cold feet.

Turned around after an hour and headed home. I left IB just before Fountain Bridge so he could collect his car and go home. Still managed 29K in just under 2 hours. Much harder work on the mountain bike than the road bike. Also need to invest in some over shoes and a better saddle for that bike. Going to be sore tomorrow at work.

J had been sending the afternoon working and was still at it by the time I got back. Shower to warm up and I headed out to the Scottish Parliament building.

This weeks theme is ANGEL ANGLE. The parliament building was the most angled building I could think of. Took the new camera down to try and get used to it. Managed a few shots of the building but nothing really worked. This was the best one of the bunch and will have to be the entry for this week.
Home to a beef stew that J made last night and cooked while I was out. Might even have a glass of wine.
