Trentham Gardens in Winter

This is a view of the Italian Gardens at Trentham Gardens, looking toward Trentham Parish Church and the remains of Trentham Hall. The formal gardens look quite bare as all the summer plants have been cut back. It looked very different last May.

As the weather had been bad all morning we didn't think we'd get out of the house today. But it cleared up around 2pm so we grabbed our outdoor gear and set off for my walk around the lake. We even got some late afternoon sun.
