Funk

This is Tom. Tom is, straight up, an amazing DJ. He has a massive vinyl collection that I am ever so jealous of. Tonight was one of his first gigs since coming back to Japan and he just killed it. I love funk, and he gave me a solid hour and a half of it. He was the third DJ of the night and the first two also did funk. A friend once told me funk is hard to dance to (I've tried DJing it myself to...mixed reviews), but on this night, no way. I was in heaven musically. Three and a half hours of funk from three skilled DJ's was the perfect way to start the weekend.
