Thank goodness!

The River Severn is very full and the people of Maisemore, a couple of 100 yards down stream of this picture, will have their fingers crossed for the next couple of days. They suffered quite badly the last time the river flooded.

It made me realise how lucky I am that I live on the other side of Gloucester with a significant hill between us and the river.

We went to see August: Osage County last night. A cracking film with some darned fine acting.

It also made me realise that my family is not half as bad as I thought it was compared to that one!!
