Snow-Line

The morning bought sleety rain showers but they were interspersed with a little sunshine which gave great relief from the dimness of late. We ventured out for a walk down to the River Tweed. On the high hills we could see it had snowed quite a lot overnight. This view is of Peebles Hydro with Dunslair Heights (602 metres) in the Moorfoot Hills clearly looking very white. The hill is clearly noticeable as it has a communications mast on top. It is a popular destination for hill walkers and bikers – from it you can apparently you can see as far as the Firth of Forth to the north. The rest of the day was spend doing some work - an attempt to catch up a bit of time I have lost being unwell.
