Ready for a Brand New Day

Watching the bird during a very extensive "toilette matinale" at the pond. The ceremony - that's what it is, in terms of time and concentration - took a good 10 minutes, where the duck didn't seem to pay any attention to what was around.
Being totally centered on what they are doing at the very moment is something I admire a lot in animals. (no multitasking there ;))
