Young Sandhill Crane

Took so many beautiful pictures today, it was so hard to pick just one. Instead of spending even more days agonizing over the decision had to just choose something.

I've never really seen the sandhill cranes like this before. They allow you to get so close you could just reach out and touch them. I guess some people in the campground feed them by hand.

Loved the colors in their feathers which look so boring from afar but are full of subtle color when you see them up close.
