Golden Alpacas...
Looking like some treasures from an Inca emperor's tomb, these two golden alpacas live in the Radisson Edwardian Hotel on Peter Street in Manchester. It's one of Manchester's 5* hotels and the public rooms are filled with interesting art like these. After the Halle moved out to their wonderful new home in the Bridgewater Hall, the building was controversially converted into this hotel. The hotel has many echoes of its musical past with some of the rooms and suites named after the people who have played here in the past. Want to stop in the Bob Dylan suite? You can here. He famously played an electric guitar here as opposed to his usual acoustic guitar back in 1966. The change was met by a cry of 'Judas!' I think he's safe to return to the city now. Just about....
