Smoke and Light

Walked the Island twice today with friends from the city who are here for the weekend. Three women who I met while doing my Masters degree. A short story weekend. One by Faulkner, one by Colm Toibin, one by Alice Munro, one by Nadine Gordimer. Great meals. Great friends. P was burning bits and pieces this afternoon. This image caught the smoke filtering through the trees in the sunlight.
