Transitory
The annual Triathlon was held down at the bay this morning. Because of the rough surf, the swim was replaced by a 3.3km run.
Here, a rider comes into the transition area to begin the 13km run.
What I like about this photo is how the rider and the race marshal have connection for just a brief moment, making eye contact. I also like how the marshal has a plaster cast on one arm, and has her other hand thrust into a small traffic cone, pointing the way!
The weather for the triathlon was perfect, if a little muggy. But a southerly came through at lunch time, and changed all that, with wind and rain.
