Corkscrew Hazel

This twisted tree was grown by my Mum. She planted it here in 1998, not long after Dad died. Mum died in May last year. The tree is still growing well, it's very happy in its spot here.

We decided on this tree to grow here, because the garden at our shop always flooded. Now it just gets a little boggy. It is a contorted Willow and won't grow any taller than it is, so is very suited to this small garden. So the tree obviously has plenty to drink to keep it healthy.

When I've died this tree will still be here doing its job. Who will be doing mine?
