Stop, don't pass go

Frustrating night. Arrived at the edge of town for my ballet class only to find the road closed, the A1 at an apparent standstill, and no-where near enough time to drive back home and out the other side of the village to get back to town. Not least when I spent over 4 mins sat at the level crossing waiting for the train to pass.

Bad times, I was looking forwards to class all day even if this frustration comes under first world problems :-(
