The Pedlar of Swaffham

This carving is at the end of a pew in the parish church, built from funds provided by the Pedlar of Swaffham.
His story can be found here.
The church is open on Saturday mornings for tea and home made cakes so stroll round the open air market followed by a pleasant few minutes in the church. Nice way to spend the morning
The Pedler and I have some things in common; we both now come from Swaffham and we both spent time on London Bridge feeling thoroughly miserable. He was lucky, he only did it twice, I did it far more often.
