When the day starts off looking like this, you know is just gonna be a good day!

Woke up with sea views from our hotel window, up & out & on the beach before 8am to watch the sun rise!

A delish full English breakfast then set us up for the day ahead!

Drove over to Gothland (or Aidensfield.. If you're a fan of Heartbeat!) had a lovely walk down to the Mallyan Spout, then to Becks Hole before heading back to the car.

The it was over to Whitby this afternoon, lunch, mooch round the shops & a walk on the beach, and up to Whitby Abbey too!

A little walk along the beach in Sandsend as the sun was setting ... Just beautiful!!

Back to the hotel bar for eats & drinks tonight!!

Tired but very happy!! Love it!
