One man and his dog

This is the North Edinburgh Cycle path which follows the old railway network, closed to passengers in the 1960s continued carrying freight until the 1980s. The brutalist bridge connects a hotel to the outside world.

The path itself is an oasis of peace and quiet compared to the road I am standing beside.
