Isn't it funny how the house seems so quiet when your guests leave? After lunch we felt a walk was in order as tomorrow doesn't look like much of a day weatherwise. We set off from home and walked up and out of the village then we took a disused road that I've fancied investigating. It wasn't that interesting to be honest but never mind.

Isn't it funny how when you're the farthest from home the weather seems most threatening? The wind was blowing a hoolie by now with little splashes of rain but it didn't amount to much and we zipped up a bit and carried on on our way.

Isn't it funny how your best composed shots are likely to be the ones that come out blurry? I wasn't taking a lot of kit on a walk so I grabbed the D300 for a little more reach than I get with the NEX-5. This Tamron is a handy lens but it isn't always the best at locking on focus. This one's alright though.
