Not surprisingly today's planned match at the Theatre of Dreams was postponed.

Our pitch simply couldn't cope with the rain and so the ref had no choice.

Pity.

I used the time to do a bit of housekeeping on the club website. I'm proud of this vital piece of DFC's info output. We don't have a bells n' whistles Internet presence. It's a simple info based creation but effective.

That done I'm now gonna avoid all things Rabbie Burns. Apparently it's Burns Day and we are supposed to celebrate the writings of a bloke who in the modern age would be vilified.

All the false reverence that goes on passes me by.

Plus, I really, really don't 'get' his work.
