Face Painting, Karen Style

They Karen kids at the Children's Home had fun painting our faces with their traditional powder+water paste. We had fun with it too.

Shortly after we all got painted, we went into a nearby town for lunch. I wish you could have seen the faces of the people in town as we, all 10 of us Thais and Americans, unloaded from the van with our faces painted.
