The stream in the village of Brompton

Famed as the "Birthplace of Aviation" where sir George Cayley built the first practical glider in the world and rather sensibly had a servant test fly it.
Even more remarkably the flight was successful and the servant survived, (though the only recognition he got was a thank you from sir George !)
