Worth getting up for

This isn't exactly the land of sunrise or sunsets but once in a while the skies can be simply stunning!

Minutes after this I had to go out and in a nearby layby there must have been half a dozen people stopped to take this scene. The sky was truly on fire.

During the day I was working between disks and I was so disappointed that I couldn't find this image. Of course it was on the disk that remained in the camera. So glad to have found it and to be able to share!
