Another side of Edinburgh

Raquel's friend was kind enough to invite us along on the ghost tour of Edinburgh she runs. But with the rain it was only me and Raquel (and the ghosts of course!) who ventured out in the town.... Which led to a quick tour and Friday night drink.

I'm not really a fan of spooky stuff - have never watched horror films, have never told ghost stories - but, ghosts or no ghosts, it is amazing to appreciate some of Edinburgh's historical goings on. There are some real dark chapters in the history books. The abbreviated tour was perfect - just long enough in a spooky, muddy, dark graveyard on a Friday night for me!

Then up to see my friend Alex for a warm catch up and warm cuppa tea.
