Zanzibar Sands

My wife and I had arrived at Pongwe beach hotel, on the east coast of Zanzibar for the start of our honeymoon the night before. We woke up still jet lagged and decided to go exploring the sand flats at low tide that morning. We had to wear shoes as the flats are covered with Sea Urchins and Razor Clams, but we managed to find a patch of clear sand so we took the opportunity to go barefoot in the soft silty sand. My wife is carrying her thongs/flip-flops in the photo.
