A bit of a slow start to the day. But, once on that 3:30 train to Glasgow, a G&T was whistled up and recovery was underway! An early evening meal at The Gannet in Finnieston, which I must say was just excellent. I mean really excellent.
So to the highlight, and what a highlight - the mighty Del Amitri at the Hydro as part of Celtic Connections. And they were In cracking form, I can truthfully report. And they did Here and Now, surely in the Pensioner's desert island discs selection in the encore. Adult oriented soft rock with a bit of Scottish country. Dontcha just love it! Hello Glasgow!
