Pelican Picnic

I packed a lunch & went to the pier today to enjoy the view & the weather. The pelican decided to join me for lunch, he was feasting on fish the whole time. If you look closely, you can see a fish making it's way down his throat. This was entirely fascinating to me, I am learning & exploring all new types of water birds. Being this close to the bay, there is so much to see & discover.

Today I am thankful for the beautiful Friday & the relaxing lunch outside.
