Life's a beach

Nikki and the wee man spent the morning at Southport, on the Gold Coast in Queensland. It was a scorcher of the day so they had a quick picnic in the park before spending about half an hour on the beach. The little fella' was a little bit scared of the waves in the water but unfortunately by the end of the beach trip, he had no choice but to get wet as he did a big, blueberry filled poo in his swimmers! (they had foregone the swimming nappy). So big it had trickled out of his swimmers and onto his beach towel. So Gooma whisked him away to wash him clean in the ocean.

Afterwards, they stopped to see some friends, who have two boys aged 11 and 9. They were both absolutely lovely and very doting with Ernie, carrying him around and playing with him.

Then they went and saw Uncle AJ & Chelle for dinner. Despite having not slept since about 12pm, the wee man was still on fire and full of charisma the whole time at AJ & Chelle's (he really seems to have a soft spot for both of them, although he put his arms once to Uncle AJ instead of Michelle!) While there, he was being held by Michelle and he grabbed her arms, saying 'up' and pushing her arms up!
