Layers

Went outside in search of the owl that hoots in my tree every night. No luck. On the way in, I saw Gigi in the window watching me. This isn't a great photo, but I love how I can see all the layers. Me, the neighbors behind me, Gigi, my amaryllis, the Dickens Village on my piano and through the dining room window into my backyard. This photo is layered like the clothes I wear these cold days. These clothes I will shed tomorrow as we head south.
