Where have the curls gone

This week was book week for Ellie's school and today they had to go as their chosen book characters. This involved a mammoth hair straightening exercise to detangle all those curls.

When we had finished I took a long look at my little girls to find that she was growing up. Filled with excitement she went off to school secretly excited by the prospect of lots of nice comments. To be totally honest I was too.

However, when she returned and told me what everyone said the predominant statement was 'you have straightened your hair Ellie'. This was something she already knew......

Oh well I thought she liked stunning with curly or straight hair.
