Burns night

Well, what a day. I had mummy and daddy all to myself today. We have celebrated Robert Burns day today instead of tomorrow. So I had my tartan dress on and my fancy black shoes.

We started by attending a special assembly at my sisters school. She won a Scottish poetry reading competition for her whole year group. Mummy and daddy said she did so well and were very proud. I took my bike down to the school, it was great fun. At the assembly There was singing, dancing and lots of poetry readings. I danced to all the songs and clapped after each reading. I had great fun, the only time I got upset was when mummy wouldn't let me go on the stage. I even tried joining in all the actions to the songs.

Once home I had a tiny bit lunch, my medicine and some water. I then decided I wanted to go back on my bike. So I climbed back into my bike. Shouted for daddy and waited. Nothing, so shouted again. Eventually he appeared lifted me out and went in to the kitchen. By the time he came back I was back in my bike. So he lifted me out again and put my bike in the garage. He said I could go out later but needed my nap.

At dinner time tonight I decided I wanted to sit at the table. Wouldn't eat unless I was at the table, well nothing wrong with having some manners. Mummy was out helping at a burns supper tonight so it was just daddy and me. I didn't get a bath as there was no hot water, daddy ran it but it was cold water. I kept taking my vest off and running to the bath. I was not happy that I wasn't allowed in.

Today is a very special day for me on blip. It's my 365 entry today. I have been blipping a whole year. It's been a fun filled year. I have learnt to walk, I'm nearly talking and my favourite thing to do is dancing. I have turned one, been on my first holiday abroad and cut my first tooth.

Mummy and I had great fun looking back over the last year. Mummy loves the fact that she can look back over all my special moments and achievements. She has met lots of special friends on blip and looks forward to seeing what they have been up to each day.
So here is to another year, wonder what I will get up to in the next 365........
