Porridge

After a disastrous start to the morning including a poorly dog, and bathing and trimming the hair of that poorly dog while our porridge went cold, Jacob and I treated ourselves to breakfast at earthy. We had a lovely time and I'm already looking forward to our next disastrous morning so we can do it again. For a boy who only has about ten words, mostly vehicle related, he can hold a great conversation and is so much fun. He sees going out to eat as a real treat and it's such a pleasure taking him out.
The rest of the day involved a short walk, baking brownies, a trip to the toy shop for Jacob with his grandparents, lighting the fire, and being glad its Friday.
