The festival years

It was an unrelentingly grim grey wet day. Apart from chores and shopping I hardly went outside at all.

Instead I got my printer working, new inks, good paper it does nice enough prints.
I figured out how to use the remote control/timer thingy I bought for the camera recently (not hard at all as it happens), and I tried out the in-camera HDR function which I just discovered my camera has.

And then I spent the rest of the afternoon making a collage of prints of the girl during her festival years when she lived and worked in Cork. She loved fancy dress and it was any excuse to dress up. She used to spend hours planning and making her costumes, and as you can see was always the life and soul of the party.
