A slight detour

Paperwork day for K today and i was hoping for a day of felting with so many orders to do.
Friday mornings always starts by taking sprout out. Today K said he would go with us, great i thought a nice time alone to chat, something we can rarely manage without being interupted in our madhouse.
It was 8.45 and only planned to do my usual route into the woods and back, shower, clean up and sat felting before 11am.
Half way into the wood K said we will just take a slight detour, just a slight one. Ok i thought, maybe theres something he wants to see or show me?
At 12.15 and about an extra 7 miles later i walked in the house!
It was a beautiful detour, somewhere i havent been for years and years!
But what lengths K will go to, to get out of doing paperwork! ......i started felting at 3pm.
