A shortage of racks

A day spent transiting between coffees, lunches (well, only one), meetings and beers. Latterly the transits involved getting very wet indeed. Earlier I visited the library, and noted the lack of bike racks, so everyone just uses the railings around George Square. Not an attractive arrangement, it seems to me, and something the University should do something about. I often think that the University has not really adjusted to the rate of bike usage these days and has failed to make sufficient provision (in the right places).
