Yesteryear today

While walking my dog to the V.E.T (a visit which did not pass without incident) I passed the local hardware shop. It caught my eye.

Later, when clutching three bags of supermarket shopping, a large, purple handbag and a post traumatic dog, I managed this quick shot using my phone. As my only photo today, it has to be my blip.

There was something about the brushes hanging up that seemed to belong to yesteryear. I started watching 'All Creatures Great & Small' with my 11 year old this week. Perhaps it was the combination of a visit to the V.E.T, some old fashioned hardware and my current viewing that drew me across the pavement.
