DDW's January 2014 Challenge Day 24: Shy

My munchety crunchety plant suddenly sprouted 3 flowers in it's move to Orkney...That was in December. They shot up within a week and have since stopped. We have been waiting for ages now to see what they will look like but it seems they are very shy. They all remain closed. This one amuses me because 1) it looks a bit like a triffid and 2) it looks like it is sticking it's tongue out.

There is also a complimentary dog hair. The dogs always like to get involved in blips.

I stripped all day again today, dancing and singing to the radio...It was a bit like a cross between flash dance and DIY SOS. Made it round the room to the door. The door was a strippers dream, swift removal of paint in great big long strips....ooooooh yeah, that's how I like it ;) Unfortunately the heat gun (not me;) cracked one of the panes of glass in the door :(
