En Route to Tignes les Brévières

This morning started badly with the majority of lifts and pistes closed. There was heavy snow and very blustery winds. We decided to try to avoid the winds by heading downward. A good choice that was and the sun came out.

There are almost no trees around Tignes Val Claret (where our chalet is) and Tignes Le Lac so it was good to ski through some forests on the way to Les Brévières.

On the final run of the day (back on a familiar piste), I managed a top speed of 69.6km/h. Will search for the other 0.4 tomorrow.
