More sewing

This is not my effort but based on a style I have used a few times.
Definition of Patchwork.
Cut fabric into shapes.
Sew fabric into shapes
Possibly cut new shapes up
Create a new piece of fabric.
That sounds mad, but really that is patchwork.
Quilting on the other hand is something different.

The blip quilt is
5in squares, sewn into 9 patches(3x3)
Cut in half then quarters, then resown.
sashing around (white)
Then border(blue).
After that sandwich with backing cloth and wadding.
then quilt. Easy:)

D has made this for the same exhibition as my fabrics from earlier in the week which haven't been sewn never mind quilted.
I will get it done! 14th March looms larger by the day, why am I on Blip. I should be sewing.
