War. Today I was privileged enough to listen to 83 year old Holocaust Survivor Rudi Oppenheimer recount his childhood and fight for survival in The Netherlands and Germany ending up in Bergen - Belson camp.

600+ children and staff sat entranced by his moving story. A once in a lifetime experience to hear real history from someone who lived through it. He and his brother and sister just made it out alive but their family members did not.

I will remember this day.
