Friday treats

While standing at the check-out queue in the Co-op I felt sorry for these tulips, reduced to half price, so treated myself. A Truly Irresistible chocolate cake also jumped into my basket. Oops.

Yesterday I invited Christina and her man, Brian, for a soup-and-sandwich lunch today while they were checking out the cottage next door, which they are due to move into soon.

I didn't know that Brian doesn't like cake (???), so there's a large bit left. Anyone for cake? A Friday treat? Otherwise I'll just end up scoffing the lot...
