New homes

Omura has changed quite a bit in the last few years and a lot of it has to do with the hundreds of new houses and apartments that have been built. Because Japanese houses don't have air vents or insulation (that's a whole different story), they can be built so quickly. I've seen a ton of farm land turned into houses, and the houses are usually built and finished within a couple of months. It's astonishing. This is just across from my school so I've been watching the progress almost everyday for a couple months now. It seems like last week that was just a patch of grass.
