Yamaha SR 250 Solo Seat Construction

Some progress on the motorcycle project.

Handlebars replaced and gas tank repair completed.

The solo seat construction starts with roughing out a seat pan made from an old cutting board then bending it to conform with the desired seat shape and frame / rear fender angle.

I’ve never made a motorcycle seat before, so it's a "learn as I go" process.
