Frozen sunset

Tonight took a walk down to the lake after walk it was another balmy -15c. With the wind chills around -20c.. I finally made it home before the sun set. As I was driving home I saw some sun dogs, which I wanted to blip however could not find the right spot to stop. I went to the park to see if I could find them however again. A sun dog is like a rainbow in the sky caused by the rising or setting sun.

Since I missed the sun dog I got a chance to get a shot at the setting sun. The only thing I was it was a bit warmer so I could change setting on the camera, however the fingers get cold so fast that mittens where in order for most of the shots.

Tomorrow I may be disappointed as squirrel blip Friday May have to be cancelled due to high winds and -35c windchill chances of seeing one will be very slim nor do I blame them if they stay hidden.
