Woke with a migraine at 6am, no gym, went back to bed and rose later when I was left with a fuzzy dull ache. As I looked outside it was not at all like yesterday's windy day, a calm blue sky up above with not a flutter in the trees. Did I think to blip - no, just wasn't thinking and now in the afternoon the wind has got up.

Instead of an outside blip, I saw the lovely carnations in my birthday bouquet which will soon be wilted and faded, they are my blip today while still looking their best.

Daughter A flies in tonight for a very brief stay, one night - I'm happy, looking forward to seeing her :)

A long weekend in store for some, Auckland and Northland Anniversary weekend and over the sea Australia Day will be observed. Wherever you are, I hope its a good one - Happy Weekend blippers :)
