Creekside Trail II

We walk this trail several times a week. I published a picture of almost his same spot a year ago (1/3/1) and the contrast is pretty stunning. Our beautiful, balmy weather continues, but water rationing is being announced in many Sonoma County communities whose reservoirs are almost dry.

We have a well, but have no idea what that means in terms of the overall picture, so we're trying to conserve as much as possible. OilMan has turned off the irrigation to the lawn and the plants which have already been killed by the frost. I am getting used to washing with cold water because we hate to see all that water running down the drain while it warms up. Our wonderful David has created a "grey water" system, which diverts this water to the garden, so we may have him install one for us when he has finished our bathroom.
